Facility We Have In Our College


  • The college has acquired 11(Eleven) buildings, consisting of 42 rooms.
  • Four (4) semi-pucca buildings are used for class rooms. Two (2) buildings are used for Laboratory.
  • One (1) Building Block is used for the administrative block.
  • Two (2) building Blocks are separately reserved for Boys’ Hostel.



The Library is well-stocked with volumes of prescribed text books and journals that have been purchased with the financial assistance from the State Government and University Grants Commission. The library is also automated with Library management Software. Students are encouraged to avail of the facilities provided in the library.


The college has a spacious play ground and a basket-ball court for different out-door games and sports activities. There is also a Multi – Purpose Hall for indoor games. College Annual Games and Sports Meet is conducted annually. The College also participates in Inter University Sports Meets.


Students belonging to Scheduled tribe and Scheduled caste receive Post- matric scholarship from the Department of Tribals & Backward Classes, Government of Manipur.



A 60 capacity Girls’ Hostel at the College campus was constructed by the Department of Tribal Welfare and Backward Classes, Government of Manipur.

The college also constructed two Girl’s Hostels financed by the University Grants Commission with matching from the College that can accommodate 70(seventy) students

The College has two separate hostels for boys which can accommodate 50 boys.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

Under the department of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Manipur, NSS units was opened in the College. The College has conducted regular/special Programmes such as Seminars/Talks on DRUG ABUSE AND PREVENTIONOF AIDS in and around the surrounding villages. It enrolls 100 students to be NSS volunteers for both special and regular programmes.

NCC was been officially introduced from the academic session 2011-2012. Cadets of this college participate in many local and national camps. Military training is imparted to the cadets through the NCC activities. The College has produced a good number of ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate holders.

RED Ribbon Club

Under Red Ribbon Club, awareness programmes on the spread of AIDS, HIV and Health care are often conducted in the College. Volunteers donate blood and quiz competitions are also held on health issues.


The College has opened IGNOU studies centre for Under Graduate courses in Arts stream and Diploma Certificate Courses.


The college has introduced vocational course in Sericulture under he sponsorship of the University Grants Commission from the academic session 1998-99. It provides an ample opportunity to the local educated unemployed youths for job orientation course. Students of B.Sc. General Course can enroll in this vocational course. A workshed equipped with scientific equipment and tools for rearing Tasar and Seri Worms is available. The United College caters to the needs of the local tribal students of the district and provides adequate books, science equipments for laboratory, computers and zerox machines etc facilities for their benefits.


For the purpose of quality enhancement and sustenance of the College and also in connection to NAAC Re-accreditation, the college has set up IQAC and IQAR cells. These cells are under a Co-ordinator respectively.


In order to give exposure to the students regarding various job opportunities available in the job market, career guidance and counseling is conducted periodically.


Eco club has been set up in the college as part of the college’s vision to impart general awareness to students regarding environmental degradation and preservation of the eco-system and to involve them in campaigns for spreading awareness in the surrounding villages.

There are two Students’ Unions in the college viz. the United College Students’ Union and the National Students’ Union of India. The Students’ Unions organise various student-related activities such as cultural shows, Literary meet, educational excursions etc. to show case and promote individual talents.

Vechile Shed

The College has car/two wheelers shed for students. The College authority shall bear no responsibility for any loss/damage of car/two wheelers kept inside or outside the College campus.


The College has a Canteen and a Consumers’ store for the employees and students.


There are two separate common rooms for boys and girls. These rooms are stocked with newspapers, magazines, periodicals and equipped with facilities for various indoor games.


The College will conduct an orientation programme for students along with their parents/guardians at the beginning of a new academic session the date for which will be notified later on. The objective of this orientation programme is to highlight the academic norms and programmes, rules & regulations, the functions and working of different sections of college administration.



Examinations shall be conducted at the end of each semester as per the guidelines of Manipur University. Each paper shall carry 100 marks and shall be evaluated at the end of semester examination. The examination of a paper will be of three hours duration. Monthly test is conducted regularly.

Courses We Offered

The College offers both Arts and Science streams for Under Graduate courses.

Graduation Courses :
The duration ofcourses Graduation Course extends up to 6 Semesters i.e. 3 (three) years under the new scheme of Manipur University. Every student is required to offer three Electives/Subjects and a General English paper .
